Hand-Hammered Aluminium and Venini Glass Chandelier, circa 1963
Custom hand-hammered aluminium and Venini glass chandelier. This piece was commissioned for the Petroleum Club of Houston. The Petroleum Club of Houston was designed by architect George Pierce and interior designer William Parker McFadden. Inspired by the geography and history of oil fields, the color of the glass shades reflects the opalescence of petroleum while the silver frames are reminiscent of early oil-burning lamps. Made with high-quality materials, McFadden commissioned Venini to create the wheel-carved shades for the chandeliers.
We have two of these examples available at this time.
